Jonathan Gabriel

Jonathan Gabriel is a seasoned business attorney with more than 25 years' experience. He is a principal in the firm, where he focuses on helping business clients navigate the legal challenges they face in today's competitive marketplace, whether it be drafting contracts or litigating business disputes.

Mr. Gabriel represents clients in a number of different industries, from zinc sales to uniform rental, to meat processing, to residential and commericial construction. In the many years he spent representing clients in the Los Angeles garment industry, Mr. Gabriel's developed an expertise in the area of commercial law and application of the Uniform Commercial Code to disputes involving the sale of goods.

Mr. Gabriel was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. At age 16 he immigrated to Los Angeles with his family, where he enrolled in the prestigious Harvard School (now Harvard-Westlake).

After graduating high school, Mr. Gabriel enrolled at the University of California at Berkeley, where, in 1984 he obtained Bachelor of Arts degree. Mr. Gabriel then enrolled at the University of Southern California Law Center, where, in 1987, he obtained his Juris Doctor degree.

Mr. Gabriel is admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, and the Federal Court of Claims. He has also argued before the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board in Washington, D.C. He regularly represents clients before Federal and State courts of other state, and has been admitted to practice on a case-by-case basis before the United States District Courts in Chicago, St. Louis, Miami, and Houston.

Mr. Gabriel has served as a Judge Pro Tempore for the Los Angeles Superior Court. He is an active member of his community, and he regularly donates his time to local non-profit and charitable organizations. An avid scuba diver, Mr. Gabriel can often be found exploring the reef off a distant tropical island.
